There are eighteen lines of monastic Gothic script with one three-line initial "L" in highly embossed gold on a ground of blue and white tendrils, minor initials in gold, alternating on red and blue inked grounds, feathered borders in embossed gold, blue and pink inks following the outsides, fern like line fillers in embossed gold, blue and red inks. Verso: eighteen lines of monastic Gothic script with one three-line initial "L" in highly embossed gold on a ground of blue and white tendrils, minor initials in gold, alternating on red and blue inked grounds, fern like line fillers in embossed gold, blue and red inks.
