Bound full calf with red morocco title label, heavily rubbed and scuffed, vertical split in middle of spine--repaired with flexible book glue and cord are still holding, leather split along both hinges but hinges still fairly tight, bottom 3cm of spine chipped away and consolidated with flexible book glue, worn through leather at corners, inside hinges repaired with archival paper, medium to heavy foxing.

The printer, Jane Aitken, took over her father's business on his death in 1802.
